We stayed here because I was attending a training for work next door, but my work could not pay the rate at the Hilton, and Super 8 cost half as much. I guess we got what we paid for. It was convenient to the training, but the benefits ended there. It's on the edge of a sketchy area with druggie/homeless people constantly out front, women peeing on the sidewalk, people harrassing you as you walk by etc. The room itself was shabby and had not been well cleaned. I found someone's shaved whiskers on the sink and also curly body hair embedded in the "clean" bath towel. They didn't replace the shampoo and conditioner even when days had gone by and both were empty. The single elevator was creaky, loud, super sketchy, and the permit had expired. Breakfast had the worst coffee we had ever tasted, watered down juice, and frozen waffles only on days they felt like putting them out. Something was wrong with the room air quality because we were both developed congestion inside that cleared after we left the room for a while. Once the front door of the whole hotel broke and you had to knock to have them let you in or out. Also the power strip in the room had an explosion mark as though it had been overloaded, melted and burned a little, then had never been replaced. The TV only got one channel. The lighting in the room was very dim. The whole place actually seemed like a fire trap. I'm glad we made it through four days there safely.
