“Dirty, Smelly, NOT Worth it.”

  , Calgary
The price was ridiculous. There were hairs in the bathroom, squished mosquitoes under the bedding and it smelt gross. The hotel is in what seems to be a shady area of Stettler and had shady characters roaming around outside (I didn't feel safe). The first room I got had stains on one of the beds and squished bugs in the other, the blanket was dirty, there were hairs in the bathroom and the toilet paper roll was basically empty. There were also sticky spots on the dresser where the TV sat and splashes on the mirror. The second room they put me in still had hair and a funky odour, and the TV had some weird lines across it, not much better. The breakfast was non-existant, there was barely any yogurt and the juice machine was broken. Really poor location. The ONLY nice thing about this place was the front desk lady- she was as least friendly. I would never stay here again, you can tell they really take advantage of the lack of hotels in the area for oil and gas clients. At $140 per night, I would try to find someplace else or drive on to Hanna or Red Deer. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
