“Any port in a storm”

  , Long Beach
The stay at the Goodyear Super 8 started well, although, after 3 nights in Las Cruces for around 135 dollars, the 80 plus room rate was surprising. The room was clean, and had a small refrigerator, which was somewhat better than I was led to believe I would get in the Las Cruces room, which promised a microwave and refrigerator, and had neither. The "free" internet in Goodyear also involved having to sign on to another site, and accept their terms, which I did not appreciate, when I had no such problems in the Las Cruces site. In the morning, one of the staff was talking on her bluetooth while taking care of the breakfast supplies, a somewhat unnerving sight, to say the least, if you've seen someone looking like they're talking to themselves, before seeing the bluetooth unit. All in all, an unprofessional thing to to in any job, especially dealing with the public. While these will, by no means, cause me to avoid Super 8 in the future, I will certainly look for another unit in an area. Phoenix, not being that far, is a potentially better choice.
