“Disappointed!!!”

When we checked in, nothing in the room was connected to the outlets! Not even the lights! We had to connect everything ourselves. I called the front desk to let them know and he said for some reason some people disconnect everything before they check out?? Why isn't this something that the housekeepers noticed when "cleaning" the room? We noticed that we didn't have a fridge in our room like there was supposed to be, so I called the front desk once again. He went up to check the room, and offered to switch us rooms. It was already very late and we had driven 5 hours so we told him we'd be fine without a fridge. Then about an hour later we noticed beer cans in between the bed and the wall!! My 2 year old niece picked up the can! They were in plain sight. How could the housekeepers not see them?! I called the front desk to ask when a manager would be in, he let me know he would be in at 9am the next day. At about 10am the next day I went down to speak to the manager and the front desk clerk told me that he wouldn't be in that day, but should be in the next day. On Sunday morning when we were packing we found a dirty pair of socks under the bed! Disgusting! I went down to the front desk once again to speak to the manager and they told me he wouldn't be in THAT day either! I asked the front desk clerk if there was any sort of discount he could give me for all the problems we had and he gave me a $6 discount! A $6 discount for my entire weekend stay! I work in a hotel myself, and everything being unplugged, no fridge, beer cans that my 2 year old niece picked up & dirty socks unde the bed is completely unacceptable!
