“Was not happy!”

We stayed for two nights and because we didn't know we were staying the second night we got a different room the second night. The first night we got a room with only one bed, we had two children with us also so that was very inconvenient. That room was ok but the second was not. I went down to the front desk to ask for some extra blankets and they had nothing at all they could do. The gsr said he could do nothing for us because he had nothing in the cupboards. To start off the room had a beer can under the bed and bits of garbage around the second because it had a boxed frame all the way to the floor. There was something (nasty) spilled on the headboard of my bed and i chose to sleep at the opposite end of the bed for the night. There was also a few different spots in the bathroom that had mold. One spot covered by the shower curtain so we didn't notice it until we pulled the curtain down. I am pregnant so I was not very happy or pleased to see that! The heater only had few selections for temp so we were either freezing or too hot! The service was terrible. I worked in a hotel before and I was housekeeping and was promoted to Head Housekeeper and then worked at the desk and in laundry also. I was offered the management position at that hotel so I know every aspect of the hotel business so I know that there is only so much a gsr can do about blankets and stuff but the attitude is what made me even more mad about how the whole situation ended up playing out.
