“clean but horrible service”

This hotel is very convenient for my travels however the service and continental breakfast are horrible. The rooms are small but neat and tidy. They do not replace your shampoo if you are there for an extended time but I did get new soap once. The wifi is fast which is good for work. The major downside for this hotel is the breakfast and service. The breakfast is a joke, donuts that are stale and it looks nothing like other Super 8s I have stayed at. Also, the keys seem to reset every night. I would leave in the morning and be gone all day, only to come back and not be able to get into my room. The first day i had to bring my key back 3 times to get it reset because it wouldn't work. And we stayed from Friday till the Tuesday and my key never worked. There were a few times I went to the front desk for either a new key, or asking about early checkout, or trying to check out, and there wasn't anyone at the front desk. In the morning of check out i rung the bell a ton of times, left and got breakfast from Mcdonalds quick, walked back and run the bell and knocked a bunch and finally someone came to the door. Every night if we didn't get back early enough we couldnt' get in our rooms until after checking a few times because no one was at the desk. Or they may have been there but had the door locked and wouldn't show up. Just horrible service. I had a problem with early check out as well and the front desk told me they couldn't fix my reservation and get my checked out (i was late to where i had to be because of it and still had to come back on my way out of town) and told me to call Wyndem. I called customer service and they couldn't understand why i couldn't check out early. So customer service had to call the front desk of the hotel of which the desk attendant had disapeared again. The phone at the desk was ringing and ringing and ringing and me and a friend of mine where trying to find the guy to answer it. He did eventually get there and my checkout and bill did get fixed but like i said I had to come back 5 hours later to actually check out. Just horrible service the whole way around. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and there has been minimal improvement over the year.
