“Davet-Simkus Wedding Reservation Oct. 2012”

Overall, I was pleased with the room cleanliness and friendliness of staff. When I arrived, I was 4 days pre-op for a knee replacement so I came into the front lobby using a walker. There was no handicapped accessible door. That was very disappointing and I mentioned it to the female at the front desk on Oct. 12.Room service was good and respected my "do not disturb" signs. Very friendly people encountered when walking down hall to lobby. They greeted guests politely with a smile. Disappointed in that by the time I got to the lobby for "continental breakfast" there was only 1 yogurt left and nothing else for me to eat. I am Hypoglycemic and need protein in the AM. A boiled egg would have been nice or peanut butter to put on the toast. Good thing I brought some almonds to keep in my room for a protein source.I was on the ground floor. The people above me I could hear walking whenever they went from one room to another. The squeak woke me from sleeping. Guests arriving late were too loud in hallway -- also very disturbing. Front desk persons were very cooperative when I asked for my Ice Pack to be put in a freezer when I left the room. The disappointing part was that while my sister and daughter's rooms had a refrig/freezer, mine did not. I could have benefitted much from having a fresh ice pack available to put on my pre-surgical knee. TV in room had a very blurry picture. I asked my sister to come and look at the TV screen to make sure it just wasn't my glasses. She also said it was blurry. Difficult to watch for more than 20-30 minutes. I had to move the floor lamp to the desk to put on my makeup. The energy-saving light bulbs did not provide enough light for me.
