Thank you for your review of Super 8 in Panama City Florida.We appreciate your business and are sorry that you experienced a problem with your room during your stay. Our policy is not to enter a room that has a Do Not Disturb sign on it for any reason. We have day sleepers, persons with pets etc. we are not allowed to call a room or enter at any time the sign is out . This explains why your room was not cleaned that day as I reviewed the housekeeping records and thy had a Do not Disturb sign comment on their report for your room. Thank you for your review of Super 8 in Panama City FloridaWe apologize for the problems that you encountered during your stay with us.Super 8 takes pride in our clean rooms and hospitable staff. I reviewed this entire situation with our Manager and came to these conclusions.You were reserved here under a Corporate Lodging reservation. At any time your room is left empty of all clothing or belongings it is considered an empty room and Corporate Lodging will not pay for empty rooms. Our housekeeping staff alerted us to the fact the room was empty that morning at 11 am ( check out time). You possibly could have advised us that even though your room was not going to have anything in it you were going to return to stay the night. There were no notes in our log book to this effect. Therefore we had no other alternative than to believe you had left and checked you out.We are sorry that your sleep was interrupted by other guests and that you felt threatened . We like our guests to have the best experience while they are here and to be leave rested and happy and it sounds like you did not experience either on your visit. We would like you to return to Super 8 when you are in the area and we will discount your room for this mistake. SincerelyMary Baty « hide

We apoligise that you didn't enjoy your stay.We sincerely hope that you will return to stay with us in the future.Our policy is that when you check in at 4 am that you are charged for a full night stay until check out time of 11 am that day. Our normal check in time is 3pm and if you had checked in at 1pm the day of your check in there would not have been a charge at all.We only charged you $50.00 as a courtesy to you for a partial night since you were staying for several nights with us .You also paid us with a credit card on check out- when our guests use a credit card there is no deposit held on the card. I reviewed the video of the transactions made between you and our Desk Clerk that morning and no cash transactions were made only the credit card was presented.
