“Pay Attention at Check-in”

  , Baltimore
My overall stay was okay. I advise you pay attention when you check in if you are staying for more than one night. I was staying in this area for 3 nights and made my reservations online ahead of time. Upon checking in, the clerk rang me up for the correct total but did not set my electronic keys for that amount of time but only for one night. (I should have paid attention to the website b/c it does say "Call our Super 8 Richburg / Chester Area hotel home for a night during your South Carolina road trip." When I arrived to my room on the second and third nights, I had to go back and re-check-in because my keys had been deactivated. It wasn't to much of a pain the first night but the second time it happened I was upset. The fridge and microwave need to be updated as well as the televisions. I wouldn't dare store my clothes in the dressers, there was all types of markings in them. Also, whatever they cleaned with left an awkward smell in my room. If you are only stopping in for a night or really don't have a lot of money, this will be suitable. Otherwise, try one of the other hotels in the area. Lastly, I question how fresh the breakfast items were, especially those like the dairy items or the waffle batter. The levels only decreased in their containers from day to day and the stuck on items never were removed.
