“Non Functional Room over Heats Re-peat customer”

We use love this hotel, but this past stay was bad, its alot warmer outside. When your room AC doesnt work, and the frt desk man says there isnt anyone to fix it until the morning, very bad it was almost 100 degrees in there and we had to push them to get up another room, The TV remote did work either. WHy rent out defective rooms?? The cleaning people knew it was defective when they cleaned it. And what happened to the customer service we are use to??, maybe he was new, but no excuses we should of never got charged for that room, there was no service, we had to go back to the desk and get the key (no one got it for us) and confirm the room was ok they move our stuff and get re adjusted so we could go to sleep, because I had to leave the other 2 people for a funeral saturday morning.we are rethinking staying there ever again, its too bad cause my daughter still has 2 more years at CMU. The frt desk lady was great....the man he needs to learn customer service, instead of himming and hawwing and saying he doesnt know how to fix anything. Automatically we should of been to to get out of the room and meet him at the new room and he should of brought up the key to us at the room. BUT THAT DIDNT HAPPEN and because it was so late, he should of told us that the room is taken care of because its there fault and that room shouldnt have been rented out, and ask for forgiveness for taking so long to come to the decision to get us into another room. When I called at about 4 or 5pm that afternoon to request late arrival, they said they upgraded us to a jacuzi room ( which I told them thanks but we probably wouldnt use it because we were going to be moving all day and we would probably just go to sleep) they should of new then the room was bad, because it was hot that day and the AC should have been turned on, so we would comfortable. We use to also recommend this hotel, not sure if that will happen either....
