“Big rooms at a decent price but lacking in many areas.”

  , London
When my wife and I got there for our weekend anniversary getaway, we were greeted by a very friendly YOUNG lady that was very pleasant and helpful. She did have to run down the stairs to get something but did her best to be quick and professional. The room was very large but none of the pot lights in the ceiling worked and the switches on the wall did nothing? Maybe I was turning the Griswalds christmas lights on and off? There were a few stains on the carpet but nothing too serious. I turned the TV from 1999 on and it revealed a bright white streak across the screen and then would shut down. After several attempts, I called the front desk and they sent someone up. He suggested unplugging and plugging it back it. No dice. He said that he would consult the maintenance staff and get back to me. We left for the day to go explore the city and came back later that evening. I never heard back about the TV so I called down at 9:30pm as my pregnant wife and I were getting tired of staring at each other in our now very dark room (remember the lighting situation). I was finally able to convince them to bring a TV from a vacant room and I helped with the installation. To my surprise, I was asked if it was ok that the old TV be stored on the floor of my hotel room. At this point, I couldn't care less. Fast forward 2 hours and that's when we were interrupted by the screams and "hallway Olympics" of the 15+ womenfrom the bachelorette party that had rented the room in the middle of all other rooms (picture a rectangle within a rectangle and our room being part of the outer rectangle). We eventually fell asleep to the ballad of laughter and yelling and promptly checked out the following day.
