“Not my best pick”

  , Hillsboro, Missouri, Usa
Staff was friendly. For a "non-smoking" hotel, the hallways wreeked of smoke and it came through the vents in the rooms. If you were in the room w/ the door closed, it was somewhat bearable. Air was cold, that's a plus. Our room keys never worked twice. However, that may be good because the front desk staff was giving room keys to anyone that asked for one WITHOUT asking for ID or even the name on the room. Someone even put their card in my door and it opened it-- scarey! It's not the best place to stay w/ children. It's next to the highway so there were alot of "transient" type people coming and going-- some even attempted to open our room door when my son was sleeping. The rooms were fairly clean, just older. However, the bedspreads had multiple stains when pulled backa and the blankets were full of holes (possible from cigarettes?). Would I stay again-- probably not. Sorry!
