Super 8 Kingdom City

I apologize you if I seemed rude. It is true if you book through a travel agency, such as Priceline or Hotels.com or Expedia, that my front desk does give you the courtesy of letting you know that in the future we can accomodate special requests in a manner that travel agencies do not guarentee. Looking at your reservation it seems that Priceline did not guarentee your room type and had booked you for something other than what you requested. I, or whoever checked you in, was able to find the correct room type available however. I am sorry for the inconvenience. « hide

I apologize for the condition of the microwave and assure you it was a one time oversight; I have had a team meeting to address your concerns and I am positive the crew I have in housekeeping staff meets the highest standards. I would be happy to adjust your bill if I had your name, please contact me at the hotel anytime. My staff and I attempted our best to keep the sidewalk clear during that 18 inch snow storm and we will continue to try our best in the future to keep snow from being in the parking lot as well; I am proud to state we were the only one of 5 hotels in Kingdom City to have parking lot access during that storm and not turn away customers as other hotels did due to snow in their parking lot. « hide

Yes, we have updated our entrance to our parking lot with some retaining walls and lamps, planted some rose bushes, and laid down some mulch and edging stones, and have repainted the parking space lines in our parking lot. We've begun painting our rooms, with each one getting a green accent wall. We also are changing our our bed spreads. « hide

I apologize for both your rooms and all issues have been addressed. We are currently starting a complete renovation, all 60 rooms are being painted, worn furniture replaced, and by spring time we will be ready to start replacing carpets in the rooms and bathroom linoleum. The only problem you mentioned that I could not verify and fix was the door latch, it seems to work just fine. I hope we can see you again when our renovation is complete sometime mid-summer 2013 « hide

I am sorry you were cold, Super 8 has recently changed their bedding standards and we conform to the letter of those standards. We apologize and wish we could break the rules of our franchise aggreement in order to give our guests what we personally know they desire. All our rooms have personal HVACs that can be set to any temperature and we would have been very happy to assist you in setting the temperature that would have been comfortable for you. I hope you give us another chance, as we will be happy to give you a discount on your return. « hide

I am sorry that our establishment did not live up to the Super 8's you have come to love. I am confused as to what specifically we lacked, as we have many amenities that most other Super 8's do not have. We use black lights and UV wands to identify and eliminate "invisible" stains. We have DVD players, a picnic pavillion, BBQ grille, business center, over 70 amenities in our gift shop, the largest selection of snack food in our vending machine of any hotel in the county. We are BBB accredited with an A rating as well; the only hotel in the county to even be accredited. We may be smaller and "more experienced" lacking some things like suites and swimming pools and jacuzzis, but we maintain a cleaner and friendlier atmosphere than any other Super 8 in Missouri. « hide
