“Hot, and muggy”

  , Englewood
As a native New Mexican, I'm used to hot weather, but enjoy going indoors to a nice air condition cooled room. I especially expect to have a hotel room with a working air conditioner. I don't vacation that often, but the whole point of vacationing is to be able to relax. Walking into our hotel room at this Super 8 we were greeted with a wall of warm, stale air, which after the hot muggy hallway outside our room and the 97 degree day outside, was not refreshing in the least bit. The AC initially cooled down the room a little bit, but by the time we fell asleep it was getting warmer. Upon waking up, the AC still wasn't blowing much cold air so we informed the front desk, to which we were told that somebody would be up to check. To my knowledge, no one ever checked on the status of the AC, nor did any one contact us to try and reconcile the issue. We arrived back to our room after a day out and about in 97 degree weather in beautiful Albuquerque to a hot room and another uncomfortably warm night's sleep. Upon check-out, the front desk staff did not ask about our stay, nor acknowledge the broken AC to which we had informed him of the day before. This is my first terrible experience with Super 8, and it has turned me off of staying with any Super 8 motel in the future.
