“The best thing I can say is that it wasn't terrible.”

The room was actually quite nice for a Super 8. But with the nonrefundable fee that we paid, I don't think it was worth it. There were times that there were no staff at the front desk but a sign saying that they "had stepped away to help a guest". Furthermore, when I walked in, the staff member there never even looked at me or acknowledged me. That raises concerns for the security of guests. Just anyone can walk in unacknowledged? Only one ice machine in the building. First time in a long time I encountered a line at the ice machine. No replacement coffee in the room. When I went to the front desk, staff was on phone while customers waited. I didn't want to wait. Seriously, this is a security of the guest issue. Bathrooms were clean enough. There was some mold growing in the floor tiles in the corners but, hey, it's a Super 8. The water pressure was good and no shortage of hot water or water pressure. Towels felt and smelled clean so no complaints there. The walls are thin. We could hear the TV in one room and conversation from the room on the other side. I think there was a child in the room with the conversation because someone kept knocking on the wall at various times of the night.Got to say the one funny thing about the place is that if you turn on the bathroom light, the light comes out the door, hits a mirror and is angled right at the head of the bed. So if you turn on the bathroom light, whomever is sleeping in that bed will get a shot of light. It must have been planned that way because it is a perfect bank shot. The morning breakfast didn't look appetizing. The coffee was weak. Luckily there is a McDonald's a couple of miles away.
