“Copperas Cove: A quiet, cozy town”

  , Duarte
We stay at least once a year to visit my daughter and her family. We always come to the Super 8 because it is in close proximity to amenities, and yet not far from the homestead. We love staying at the Super 8 because the housekeeper is friendly and accommodating, the bed is, naturally, not MY bed, but I sleep pretty well, and don't wake up aching. They always have a fridge and microwave in there for us, and it is great for bringing home the doggy bag and heating it up.The only criticism I have is small - they have a complimentary breakfast. The hotel is often filled by construction workers and truckers, who are quietly in bed by 8:00 and scarf up all the better breakfast items by the time I arrive. I just settled for a glass of apple juice to take my medications for 9 straight days. There should be something besides the left over cinnamon rolls and sugared cereal, folks. When we checked in, a young lady assigned our room and ran our credit card for our bill. When I explained that they should NOT charge me for the 'safe', as we never used it, nor did we know how to, she was unwilling to adjust our bill, "Because then I'd have to start over and write you up all over again *whine*" But the manager was willing to make the adjustment when we checked out. These comments will explain the ensuing non-excellent scores. The high-speed internet was down when we arrived, but they got it running after a bit. They were willing to attend to it immediately. They would be a five otherwise. Nice folks.
