“This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Period.”

I don't even know where to begin. Disgusting. Unsafe. Smelly. Abandoned. All words that would describe the room we stayed in but not nearly enough to fully describe the horrible night stay we had. Nearly everything was dust covered. There were cobwebs in the windows. There were crumbs and dirt along the walls by the base boards AND on the dresser. The security lock was missing two screws and you could pull the others out with your bare hands. The shower--gross...looked like there was mold from top to bottom in the shower hose. Could have been dirt or discoloration, but I'm fairly certain it was mold. I cannot believe any establishment, even if it was a cheap no-name motel, would allow customers to walk into a room like this, let alone stay in it. The first red flag was, after arriving to check in, the front desk person immediately reduced my rate from 119 to 107 and said "Nobody wants to pay that much for a hotel." Then, after I called all local hotels to see if there was vacancy (it was already 10:30 PM and my three young kids were asleep, and still i was willing to carry them out of bed if there had been another place available down the street) I went back to the front desk and complained about the horrible condition of the room. She reduced my rate further to 95 but I didn't like her reply to my description of the room, which was "Well, that room hardly ever gets rented." ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOU DIDN'T BOTHER TO CLEAN IT BECAUSE IT HARDLY EVER GETS RENTED. By the way, it was room 131. If anyone is desperate for a hotel and actually still goes there after reading this very honest review, we left a box of doughnuts there on the table because we were afraid of the garbage. If they're still there--run away and get your money back! I could go on for hours, seriously, and I'm not one of those people that goes to online sites and writes trashy reviews. I am 38 years old and I've probably written 3 or 4 reviews online of anything in my lifetime. Super 8 and the company that owns you (Wyndham I think), you should be ashamed to own this property and you should send someone there as soon as possible to check it out. I took plenty of photos and would happily email them to you so you can see what I am talking about. I would like to discuss this further but I need contact information. Thanks.
