“Business Trip”

I travel with a service dog and it was glaringly obvious that the managerial staff is not fond of dogs. I respect that not everyone likes dogs, however, my rights were violated according to the ADA. (Americans with Disability Act) Initially, I was asked to pay extra for my dog, I had to explain to the staff that my dog is a service dog and no additional fees should be incurred. I was also asked to enter and exit through the side door vs the front door and not to bring my dog to the front desk. The nature of her assistance requires her to be with me at all times for preventative reasons. I did not wish to cause a problem and followed her wishes. I did provide her with a card from the ADA that she had violated my rights and directed her to a website which would educate her. At no time did i receive an apology for how i was treated, in fact, she showed an unwillingness to clean my room. She would come to my room and say "Room clean?" (I believe there was a bit of a language barrier) and just hand me new towels. My only concern outside how i was treated by the hotel management was that the side door key entry was broken and they had ziptied the door bar to allow free entry to whomever-which also caused the door to SLAM shut every time it was allowed to do so and frequently woke me up.
