“Convenient & Clean”

  , Wood
This motel is right across the street from the sports fields at BYU. So for graduations and attending sports it's a perfect location. It's clean and the beds are comfortable and it has free Wi-Fi. The only real problem with the room was the hot water in the shower, it constantly went from hot to cold. Nothing is worse than enjoying a nice hot shower and BAM, it's Cold. This was every day no matter what time you were in the shower. Other than that this place is nothing special but what do you expect for about $50 bucks a night. They do have a breakfast that consists of waffles, cereal, coffee, juice and yogurt, that pretty much it. I think they need to add a few more selections but it was something in the stomach. The owner also allows the his employees to eat breakfast as well which is a nice perk, BUT its a little annoying when breakfast only goes until 9am and you are having to wait in line behind an employee to get a waffle cooked on a weekend when its really busy. Then the employees are cleaning up right at 9 and rushing you out. They either need to extend breakfast hours or give the employees their own break room to have breakfast. This place is ready for a major makeover. The carpets are old and worn, as is the paint. The Pool and Hot tub apparently haven't worked for about 10 years (per clerk). When your out all day hiking around a hot tub is a nice way to unwind. Come on owner fix these things. Will I go back? If it's only for one or two nights, maybe. But definitely not if I'm staying longer.
