I am sorry that there were things wrong at Super-8 Danville, Va. As you can understand that these are minor things. So I would suggest that you run in to a problems again you need to go down to the front desk & to see if you can get another room with a screen on the window, or tissues box empty (you did see a box of tissues but not in the box Right?). I really don't know if a guest ahead of your arrival had unplugged the Microwave, refrigerator or to the lamps but there is a switch as you enter your room that you need to turn on as you enter your room. It's that simple. As for the elevator having an oder so what did you suggest that I should spray my elevator each hour or what? And the wall papers were thin. I would like you to show me that where? « hide

I would like to apologize for my delay in responding so late but I was not at the property until later on this week & I did contact the gentelman on Friday.When I read the review first I thought to my self should I hate this gentelmen or should I thank him for the review. I chose to thank him so I can explain this to everyone who does visit Super-8 Danville, VA that I don't know if everyone knows that we have bed bugs covers. Let me explain this to everyone about what Bed bugs covers does for the guest as well as the mattress. This is what I had written to the gentelman as "I had mentioned to you on the phone to protect the guest & the rooms all my rooms have bed bugs covers (precautionary measures).I did not have any problems with bed bugs after I have taken over as GM. Here's what bed bugs coves tend to do bed bugs cover provide an impenetrable barrier between you and bed bugs living within your pillows,Mattress & box spring. The Protect-A-Bed® covers for the pillows,mattress & box spring cover is designed to provide ultimate protection against allergens and bed bugs".If you still consider your self as victim then you need to fill out the Incident report & send it to me ASAP so My insurance will investigate this get back to you as soon as they can".(I had emailed him the form & I have yet to get it back from) If he was anxious to write a bed review about the Super-8 Danville, VA then why did he not fill the incident report & send it back to me!!!!!Knowing the facts about the bed bugs where do you suppose the bed bugs came from? I will like you to judge yourself. He told me that he wanted to give him his money back.If he wanted to get free night then I would recommend him use his Wyndham reward member so he can chose where to stay free.I did try to explain to him that we do take bed bugs very seriously. First of all the cup he brought downstairs was empty(no bugs what so ever). I had asked him was it a bed bug & he told me that he "think so". When ever you are playing with someone's reputation then "think so" does not cut it. Its either you do or you don't. « hide

Thank you very much for your insight of the Super-8. So you are telling me that the "microwave needed cleaning. The room was very small and needed dusting. Very small cramped room".You could have gone to the front desk clerk & show her that the room was indeed needed dusting & the microwave needs cleaning but you did not indicate this to one of our staff member & decided to write a review on Tripadvisor website. I don't know who is behing this but we do run a honest business here & we do try to understand a guest review & take their suggestion but I think that you are wrong when it come to our housekeeping staff. There is nothing I could about the cramped room. Sorry!!!!!!Again Thanks for writing a review « hide

I would like to apologize that the compressor running on/off the night you had stayed at this Super-8 & the compressor is now fixed. I wanted to get the facts before I had written back to your review. I was told by the front desk associates that you had given a choice to change the room & you had chose not to switch room. I know that it sounded terrible but it was not dangerous.Again I would like to accept my apology on my behalf of Super-8 Danville, Va. « hide
