I have an idea. When someone is on a trip and are driving late at night, they might just need to stop and sleep before hitting the road tomorrow. Hotel pricing is expensive for doing this. Why don't any chains like yours have a downgraded package? If I show up at night and leave early in the morning, then I didn't get a chance to enjoy the extras like the pool, internet, or cable. I just slept and left. It costs like fifty to a hundred dollars to just do this, but I'm paying for the extras I don't use. I am in the market for a camper just to make up for the unexpected hotel stays. I believe if there were "Super 8 express" hotels, or even rooms available, much more people would be traveling. Just a room and a bed. Maybe a shared bathroom at the end of a hall with other discount rooms. If it weren't for my family, I'd sleep in the car like Chuck Berry. Who wants to pay 75 bucks to sleep?
