S S, I reviewed our logs and don't see any record of a guest asking to have us do something about the smell in your room. We would have been happy to move you. We have a strict no smoking policy in our non-smoking rooms. I just installed signs in all our non-smoking rooms to remind our smokers not to smoke in our non-smoking rooms and that there is a stiff $150 cleaning bill if they do. I sincerely make every effort to never allow smoking in our non-smoking rooms. As we don't have security cameras in any of the rooms, it's hard to know for sure. Sometimes our housekeepers are not as sensitive to smoke smell as you are. Our housekeepers use 4-5 different spray cleaners around the restroom and furniture . The smell of these cleaners make it difficult to detect subtle odors. I wish you could have called our front desk on this one. My deepest apologies. « hide

Keith, It was great to have you with us. Our Housekeeping staff are all new and you experienced the hard work of our staff to help you enjoy your stay. I remember you in the hallway. I was so happy to hear your story of getting that house with the view. We like our town a lot. « hide
