“Super 8 Verona - State Hockey tournament”

This was by far the WORST hotel visit my family and I have ever experieced. As a hockey family we stay in many hotels and many Super 8s due to their budget conscious room rates. However, this was horrible and unacceptable. Some of what we experienced include: The garbage can in our room was never emptied during our stay, the staff was rude, 3 pillows and 3 towels were provided for our room of 4, I used the coffee pot on the first morning of our stay and it was never cleaned and the coffee packets and cups were not replenished. Our room was reserved with a block of other rooms and I had to call back 3 times to confirm our reservation as the staff could not figure out how to properly book the room. I requested a micro-fridge for our room during booking, and was promised it would be in the room. When I checked-in I asked about the micro-fridge and was rudely told by the front desk attendent that "those are only for the suites" and "Whoever told you that, shouldn't have". I responded to the front desk that we have medication that needs to be refrigerated. She responded, "well, let's hope you have a fridge then" and left it at that. Are you kidding me with that form of customer service? To top it off, we had luke warm to cold water the entire weekend and only got warm water after one of our fellow teammates families complained, and the front desk finally changed the settings on the water temp. The sink basin drained extremely slowly. The channel listings of the cable tv service were not updated and the bedcoverings were questionable as to when and/or if they were ever cleaned, not to mention the rest of the space.
